Parent/guardian details — name, phone number, WhatsApp number and email address.
Faculty details — name, qualifications, bank/UPI details for salary, assigned communities and courses.
Payment records — fee amounts, payment dates, payment mode and transaction references.
Media — photographs and videos of classes, performances and events.
Technical data — device type, browser and basic usage logs used to keep the platform secure.
2. How We Use Your Information
Managing admissions, batches, schedules and attendance.
Generating fee invoices, receipts and faculty payslips.
Sending class reminders, fee reminders and announcements over WhatsApp, email and in-app notifications.
Sharing progress, feedback and certificates with students and parents.
Showcasing performances and events on our website and social media, where permission has been given.
Improving our courses, teaching quality and platform experience.
3. Photographs & Videos
Class and event media may be used on our website, brochures and social channels to celebrate our students. If you would prefer that your child's photographs or videos are not used publicly, write to us at thetaaltarang@gmail.com and we will remove them promptly.
4. Sharing of Information
We never sell your data. Information is shared only with:
Faculty — limited to the students they teach.
Gated community management — only where required for clubhouse access and scheduling.
Payment gateways and service providers — for processing fees securely.
Legal authorities — where required by applicable law.
5. Data Security
All data is stored on secure, access-controlled servers. Logins are individual, passwords are encrypted, and every record is protected by role-based access so users can only see the information relevant to them.
6. Children's Privacy
Most of our students are minors. All accounts for children are created and managed with parental consent, and parents may review or request changes to their child's information at any time.
7. Your Rights
Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct inaccurate details.
Request deletion of your data, subject to statutory record-keeping requirements.
Opt out of promotional messages at any time.
8. Retention
Academic and financial records are retained for as long as required for accounting, certification and legal compliance. Media and marketing content is removed on request.
